Wow! Are we overwhelmed! We (those of us here at Q Section) who post under our collective name appreciate all the kudos and congratulatory responses. We hope to continue posting and assisting others in their endeavors into cyber space. Special thanks go to all who have assisted us in our own learning and understanding of computer security. For those of you who are not familiar with the "we" part please read this short explanation: We here in Her Majesty's service out of necessity must maintain our identities covertly. We cannot even mention how many of us here post under this name but please be assured we share notes often. It is just as speaking to us is speaking to one. This computer is only used for testing purposes in our Q Section and it is not ever used for any secret or proprietary or mission-critical operations. We are not tasked with developing the security for our computer systems here. In our spare time (Hah!) at tea or lunch sometimes some of us like to customise this computer and we seek the able assistance of the kind folks at Wilders and other forums. We have down the hall another group called the "I Section" which is tasked with gathering intelligence and mainly uses computers to do it. We would just love to stroll down the hall and ask security-type questions from time to time but they are always so busy and we would not want to bother them during their work so we make our inquiries here! Of course we have all the latest equipment used by our operatives and in many cases we fabricate them ourselves but in the realm of computers we leave that up to "I Section". So hopefully that makes a satisfactory explanation although somewhat brief regarding the "we"! Any questions can be left for us although we cannot guarantee we can answer. P.S. The picture we have chosen is as a memorial to our original leader of Q Section although long passed. Thank you all once again for the congrats! It is much appreciated.
I think you should bowl yourself down to 'I' Section....tell 'em your from 'a2' and that you believe a Trojan horse has infiltrated their room and I'll bet you they all start looking at the floor for Horse-poopy......you know what they say about 'Bulls**t' baffling brains... .....Give it a go 'Q' and see what happens....you'll probably find they would'nt know a Virus from a cold in the Head.....In fact I bet they are still studying the probabilities as to wether it's safe to press the 'On' switch on their Compys.
