infected systems can not cleaned up - whatever some other fool say or write. some can make it work to rescue data but after that its pretty wise to investigate in a clean installation. from my view cleaning to work is waste of time - thats why rescue discs have value.

the next major issue - if cleaned up the vulnerable entry points are still present. "zombie pc"
that site is gambling with the fear of data loss where education should be.

all those products are free to load and usage. for HMP i am not sure if it costs money to repair. tweaking? to repair? lmao.

the tool is a downloader and can create a boot disc - the only reasonable option. using the pure programs on an infected system is pretty stupid as it is unknown which malware is acting. the result can be complete fail or pure fake.

in special for adwcleaner i can say that it wont work from boot disc - it is written wo analyse the working swystem, not an so called "offline" system. thats why malwarebytes antimalware from a boot disc fails too (original comment from malwarebytes). some need to make theses programs to search on specific drives. at least those are mostly limited to search for files (signature based) and only same as good as eg a kaspersky rescue disk.

Hi, I'm Bob Wing, CEO of PCPinpoint Technologies, Inc. we are the makers of LikeNEWPC software. I would like to answer your comments and tell you a bit about ourselves. We are indeed for real and spent 3 years developing LikeNEWPC. If you google you will see we performed beta testing on bleeping computers and worked with MajorGeeks along the way. Our early beta got beat up real good by the techs and it allowed us to make a lot of improvements along the way. Keep in mind this was designed for beginner end users to be able to fix the really bad disabled, badly infected and slow windows computers.

We use 12 total tools and scanners, 3 of which are part of our process patent which is pending. Our 6 partner products which you have questions about have all been talked to and some we have deals with. All are aware of the usage of their free end user products. We let the users use them in our process because they work!!! In addition we encourage all of the end users to purchase their paid products. We essentially help the customer by automating the download and launch of these products. They are initiating the interaction and download and as such are encouraged to read and follow the EULA's for the respective products. In addition, we are FREE also with optional donation at the end.

To summarize LikeNEWPC was designed to fix the really bad non booting, non starting, missing file, badly infected and slow computers. Used correctly it can literally save PC's from the landfill to be re-tasked and its one click so anyone can use it. Please try it on a really bad non booting system or really badly infected one. It works!

I have been doing computer repair for a long time. I am also a process guy and invented automated hard drive testing back in the day. I kind of look at things a bit differently as I am more street learned than book learned. You all have a better handle on the definitions etc but I look at security threats this way. You have operating system/services/processes being compromised, you have browsers being compromised, you have programs and their cash being compromised, you have disablers that stop programs from running and muck things up, then you have malicious code like trojans and rootkits. Bear with me I am just thinking here, please add. All of these can be present on a system.... In addition, almost ALL computers I have fixed have at least tracking cookies which in and of themselves could contain malicious code. I have been trying to get the word out that the Cambridge Analytica stuff is minor compared to Spyware, Malware etc. Can you guys help me shape this message? Brummelchen you seem to be in the camp that these things cannot be cleaned up. Our product uses specific tools to attack and clean all of the different types of threats mentioned above. We seem to have very good success through redundancy. I think the biggest issue folks are facing is they think their one security software is going to stop infections.

dont consider me as rude but i think (its close to believe) that no software or man is able to clean up an infected system. and i dont speak of simple malware or adware which can be detect form current solutions. and i have doubt if someone will tell me he has invented the swiss army knife working like surgical scalpel vs. exploits or heavy infections? sorry, no! as i wrote you can make it work for rescue but no one is able to dive that deep into windows (here as the most used operating system) with its bits and bytes and hidden places. every greater revelations were either a lucky punch or Project Zero.

latest example eg "ShurL0ckr" and the latest windows exploit on project zero blog.

it need a bunch of software to clean up a system? it need less to make a system more secure. education is free and can prevent intrusions, cleaning up costs time and money and has risks.

i am malware free for over 20 years now and my security concept changed complete 10 years ago without the interception of an active antivirus. it was not for free but a lifetime license for the right product has more benefit than a yearly fee. thus i had left behind vendors lies about their products.

i dont have doubt that "you" will find malware but i have doubt that "you" can manage it to make it work as a program - theory and practice.

You are not rude... and I understand your point. However, remember LikeNEWPC is for beginner to intermediate computer users. It automates 12 different scanners and tools to remove all types of security threats mentioned above. It is our belief that with redundancy and multiple scanner types we can be the most effective at removing threats and tracking software. Looking at it from the typical end users perspective they have one maybe two scanners that they may run once a year when their computer starts getting slow etc. The scanners they have long ago have been compromised and maybe even disabled by Malware. Essentially these computers are being tossed because the end user does not have the technical expertise to run a process killer like Rkill or browser cleaner etc. Would you rather they clean up this machine to 98% and have it functional or toss it to the landfills? In addition, from my perspective you can remove all remnants of an intrusion..... Look for our next product! :)
