    Add to Search Bar n/a
    Context Search /av
Duplicate in Tab Context Menu n/a possible userscript
Flash Video Downloader - YouTube HD Download [4K] /av
HTTPS Everywhere /av - (not recommended = fake security!)
microGesture Tab Edition n/a (gesture extensions possible)
Open Bookmarks in New Tab n/a possible userscript
Quick Context Search n/a possible userscript
    Speed Dial /av limited
    uBlock Origin /av
Undo Closed Tabs Button n/a possible userscript

    go search
    https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/search/?webextension

almost any tab extension wont survive incl TMP - API not ready or not planned
some use userscript for TMP as replacement

As I'm staying on the stable release - legacy extensions will work through summer 2018.

So FF57 will be a beta or released summer 2018?

@zapfb, please see if you wish to post in https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/firefox-57-an-overview-of-whats-new-with-resources.396305/ and let's hope that thread doesn't get derailed by mentions of other browsers or ESR, etc, etc, etc.

As for ublock origin, I'm pretty sure it will make it to v57 as a pure web extension.

Re. other addons, someone has compiled a list but I don't know how far that's updated and accurate. A link to the list is in summerheat's first post in the thread I linked to.

firefox 57 is upcoming this year november, not summer'18
thats all rants are about - less time for major changes in look and behavior.

but concerning firefox 57 (nightly) and current webextensions - eg "context search webxtension" ist not functional, in no way. the current development is changing yet too much to be reliable. and lot of API is not ready, i had another try last days but except a button nothing works as it should work. it is not possible to use chrome extensions in same way right now. everybody has to wait! other people said it will take 3months++ until firefox 57 and updates are ready to offer 99% of its API potential. thats around the time the current esr will run out - march'18.

    btw current is 55.0.3

I mentioned it because on ESR 52, you can still run legacy extensions until summer 2018. After that, its time to switch to webextensions.
So you have a grace period if you don't want to go to FF 57 in November.

That's what I've done - ESR runs fine and all my extensions work! When June 2018 comes, maybe they will have things sorted out and I can find solutions to any extensions which I might feel I need at that time.

That spreadsheet is ambitious but limited. I can't find 1 fully working replacement for my add-ons.

I don't think this spreadsheet is limited; I think it's the number of WE alternatives that's limited. I've been trying to find a good replacement for Thumbnail Zoom Plus and/or Imagus, but the WE alternatives that are currently available do not work as expected.:(
