Last night after a restart in Firefox 55.0.3 Ublock Origin icon is not on the menu. Go Add-ons it's not functioning so I Remove it & reinstall it new v1.13.10 released 08.28.2017.

Now ebay loads like ****. Every single choice or option has to be refreshed to work.

Everything on eBay works perfect in Vivaldi.

I removed Ublock Origin & eBay is still *** up in Firefox.

It seems to be an issue of Firefox:

Yes, it's working with PM. Mozilla are really losing it if you ask me.

Yes, I'm still using bookmarks Mozilla, and no, 'Pocket' isn't better. :thumbd:

I know there is a problem but I updated Firefox and UBO yesterday to their latest versions, and all is well (W7 and W10). I dont set addons or the browser to update automatically, updated invoking check for updates, perhaps that has something to do with not having an issue with 1.13.10.

does no matter - PM can not use Webextensions, either native or hybrid. what your PM is using the legacy modell inside. thats why it is called "hybrid"

btw please stay ontopic "firefox" - palemoon is not.

I had problems yesterday also. Looks like it's everybody. Works fine on Chrome. I keep using Firefox less. :(

Yeah, Chrome's my default on Ubuntu now. I used to run Vivaldi on Linux. On Windows I tend to move between Vivaldi, Maxthon and Pale Moon (depending what I'm doing). Firefox is getting increasingly irrelevant to me.

How could the once mighty Firefox fall so far?

clear cache and cookies. if that wont help, try safe mode or a clean profile. if that wont help its not firefox, its your installed security software.

sorry, there is nothing more we can do for you. ebay is shown fine here.
if ublock go 1.13.8 which is not buggy.

I updated uBlock Origin (in FF 53.0.3) to the latest version from the Mozilla Get Add Ons site and now the uBlock controls don't display. The controls are clickable, for instance I can turn uBlock-O off for a site, but the drop down window is blank. Also the extension is now listed as a webext-hybrid ( ? ) Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks for the reply. After more reading and fiddling I've rolled uBlock-O back to 1.13.8 which works fine.

I've got 1.13.10 working. I had to remove it and reinstall it.

to notice - i also installed the update 1.13.10 and had the issue. i stepped back to 1.13.8, then installed 1.13.11rc and all was fine, current 1.14.0 plays also nice to me. please please please - always create backups before important changes will happen. this one was important. and i am saving uBo settings from time to time, same for other extension when i make changes. same for chromium - i just recovered an older extension because the current is (still) buggy. i made it compiled and usable offline. annoying to do but it made me work again without bugs.

    From UBO page:
    https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/1.13.10

    2. Keep using 1.13.8 until Firefox 56 (in which the root issue is fixed). If you choose this option, you should probably disable the auto-update for uBO.

This is only one suggestion on the page. I'll do this for now.

The issue isn't in 1.14.0 afaik, workaround in changelog:
