'puter slowdown with latest McAfee update?

    My computer is running slow as hell after i updated McAfee virusscan yesterday, anybody else notice this?

    Also getting this 'Windows file protection" popup that says,

    "Files that are required to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions. To maintain system stability, windows must restore the original versions of these files"

    Damn McAfee!!! KAV, here i come!!!

    Hmm...my brother's McAfee IS didnt show any problems.

    I do not use McAfee but do know that there is mention of this issue in the McAfee Forums.

    Problem fixed, McAfee just issued a new update for the CPU issues. Click on the "updates" link in the McAfee system tray to get it.

    they finally fix that cpu issue using alot of cpu on scanning?? MD :rolleyes:
