I am interested in buying the Acronis True Image Server. A buddy of mine already has it, and i notice when you make a boot CD its very small, less than 30MB if i remember right. If i had a .tib file that was ~600MB would there be anway I could put that on there, so the cd would be one in the same, no swap?

Also, if that is possible, could i do the same on a DVD-R? (assuming i had a dvd-rom to boot from) Could i get teh startup info on there, and have a slightly larger ~800MB .tib fit?

    Hello conrad10781,

Welcome to the True Image forum. Have a read of the thread <How to create bootable rescue DVD(s)> and then, if still interested, use wdormann's original procedure or my updated one. Both work equally well.

    Regards
