    Hi all,

I'm trying to configure a push install to 20+ clients, but after running the diagnostics, i get the following error message

Remote Registry Opening (ESET Security Product Info): Result Code:2 (the system cannot find the file specified)

Any ideas? Clients run Windows 7 with UAC turned off, firewall off and file/print sharing on. Registry permissions have been set per ESET's guidelines.

    Cheers

Is the Remote Registry service actually running? What version of Windows 7?

This may be a bug in the diagnostics,

I have seen, on a number of occasions, that a push install will still work, even with this single error coming up on the diagnostics.

What happens why you try a push install to that client?

Is Eset already installed on the client? if not then the error is correct, it is trying to open the remote registry keys for Eset which don't exist yet hence failing.

Once Eset is installed the diagnostics will pass correctly.
