  2. Hmm, based on Ubuntu now. I wonder if it finally has decent multi-user support and a non-root default account?

    Hello,

    just a question?

As puppy runs from the CD, isn't it irrelevant whether you are using root or non-root?

I downloaded puppy 5.0 yesterday, and read the faq regarding root here, isn't it true?

    thanks.

    Well well well!! :) :) :)

For the first time ever I am able to use a livecd on my old computer upstairs via a little Belkin usb wireless adapter to my router downstairs.

It was so, so easy, after all the times and varieties of live cds I have tried and failed

    Very very nice!
