I have been running it for a few days now. No problems and no complaints, so far, so good!

    Thanks Mike,

There is not any scanner in OA Premium, so the rootkit scanner is included just in OA++

    Hey Mike,

I do know this is a little bit off-topic but I'm having some problems with OA 3.5.0.14 [paid version] running on one of my PCs on Vista Business with SP-2and Avira Premium 9.

The problem is the Program Guard module is blocking two trusted applications from running every time I boot up my PC. Such applications are DKService.exe [related to Diskeeper 2009] and Dwm.exe [related to Areroglass on Vista]. Due to this, I can't start Diskeeper when I click on its desktop icon and Vista Aero is no longer working.
This is very odd and it started happening 3 days ago.

I see both applications included on the program Trusted List [when I untick hide trusted] but in the History tab I see they are always blocked when I startup my PC.

What gives? How do I fix this problem?

    Thanks in advance,

    Carlos

    Hi Carlos,

We made some improvements in boot time protection - I would recommend you give the new version a blast and let me know how it goes.

Wow, Mike ! That was the speediest response I've ever got :)
I wish all Technical support teams were like you. Thanks a bunch.

Mike, does the commercial key I have for my paid version works on this Beta version? Do I need to uninstall my current version to install this one?

Again, thanks so much for your support. Very appreciated.

    Regards,

    Carlos

    Hi Carlos,
It will work on any beta - if you want to play with ++ though, you will need either an existing commercial AV+ key, or use the eval ++ key.

    I'd uninstall and reinstall myself.

    Hi,

Thanks for the great product. :thumb:

BTW, what will be the difference between OA Free and Premium?

    Thanks in advance.

Nope, this one is still pricey.
But Key Loggers and Exclusions have been added to the Free Version without charge. :D

    Cheers

    >> boot time protection.

From my point of view - has to be a part of antivirus protection - not firewall...

In any other case i remember that all new or unknown programs run restricted (HIPS).

Realtime whitelist and updates is a paid feature. We have to have something that pays the bills, and there is of course ongoing work and resources consumed to maintain this.

Online Armor ++ is Online Armor Premium, with the addition of the ASquared/Ikarus scanning engine

Yes, sure I understand this. I did not mean it for free version.

BTW I tried trial of OA ++ on Win 7, no go- BSOD on restart due to OA sys/driver.

Hi lakecliff, I don't believe Wilder's allows direct download links. Please follow the link in the first post and the download is easily accessible.

Are there plans to make this final version compatible with Windows 7?
Changes seem very nice and I want to test it.

It's not even available for Vista 64-bit yet. Any updated timeframe, Mike? I, too, am so anxious to try it!
