    A Squared free found Riskware.PSWTool.Win32.Asterisk.a
    on my PC.

    I googled but did not get any info

    Does anyone know what it might be associated with? it says at the first link above it is not malware in itself but can be associated with malware?

    Asterisk Logger from Nirsoft. I think I had it one time I forgot a password, It can see the password hidden by the asterisks***How come it did not pick this up last scan as i have had it some time. I updated ASquared today before scanning. FP?

    It's a riskware detection. Not an FP, not a true positive. It isn't malware, but it can be used for malicious purposes.
