SafeOnline blocks it here, and indeed looking at the source it uses the most simplistic technique which is effortless to block from any security product. I'm unsure why SafeOnline wouldn't have blocked it on your PC - possibly because of another security product being installed - but I'd need further details of your setup to see why.

We intentionally don't protect the control key (or alt or shift), for example, as it causes system wide confusion, and it could possibly see that there is a keystroke being pressed, but it won't be able to see the keystroke itself :)

Have had another go with this KL and yes - Prevx does stop it logging the letters from the keyboard input but numerical digits are logged. While this will protect a mixed character password what about a credit card number which is all numerical, how will it protect against that?

Currently it protects the normal numerical digits on the buttons above the alphabet characters, but not the ones from the numpad.

    My bad
Remember about that now, had clean forgotten about it.

Will Prevx 4 protect the numpad as well? Be handy if it does because there must be lots of ordinary users out there who are not aware of this. Most people I know (including me) use the numpad for typing the digits most of the time.
