I'm using a proxy that uses port 8080 on localhost to connect to a ssh server on port 22. Does anyone know if the following connections appear vulnerable? As you can see the connections are to and from 127.0.0.1, but port 8080 doesn't appear in the setup at all, and i'm using port 8080 as the proxy port. If the connections below appear faulty, how can I configure correctly
    for proxy port 8080?

    Active Connections

Proto Local Address Foreign Address State PID
    TCP xx.156.116.127:2777 xx.118.34.249:22 ESTABLISHED 1780
    TCP 127.0.0.1:1027 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 432
    TCP 127.0.0.1:2305 127.0.0.1:2306 ESTABLISHED 1880
    TCP 127.0.0.1:2306 127.0.0.1:2305 ESTABLISHED 1880

which proxy do you use. One change i might suggest is to use non standard 8080. I use naviscope and regularly change the port it uses like 8091 or 8095

I ran across this thread, and I am using Proxomitron which uses local host 8080 I think. Will this interfere with LnS?
I am using Kerio 2.1.5, but I thought that on my new computer I would use LnS. I have had no trouble with Kerio, but tests seem to show LnS to be a better firewall.

    Any thoughts on that?

    Thanks,
    Jerry
