In MajorGeeks.Com I found Protector Plus - Windows Vulnerability Scanner and I tried it. It says that I have not this update: https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms15-001; it sounds strange because I monthly check Windows Update and I do all security updates. So I launch Windows Update and it doesn't report this update for me, so I must already have done it, as I believe. And then ? Probably Protector Plus doesn't work fine, but i would want to know... Someone would give a look ? it's stand alone, no installation required.
https://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/protector-plus-windows-vulnerability-scanner.329200/ IMHO, you should stick with WindowsUpdate or MicrosoftUpdate, each month some update are superseeded by new one, and don't forget to run the Windows disk Cleanup to clear old one, sometimes when you Cleanup, restart and re-check Microsoft update, Abracadabra new avaible update (s) appears.
