If you're going to be releasing major versions every month you need to do what Chrome does and force people to move on.

Agreed, this isn't an OS, it's a browser. Corporate users are going to have problems no matter what, simply because they won't move on to the new release period, until 3 or 4 versions later. For the regular user, you're just going to have a bunch of people out there sitting on outdated versions, which won't do a thing for security or Mozilla's business. I see another storm coming anyway with one month releases. I know it's only a consideration, but it's a horrible move.

Why not simply 6.x is on LRR (lab rat release), and when the times comes, it goes to LTS (Long Term Support), while 7.x goes to LRR?

Mozilla won't just admit they screwed up so now they're trying to put a band-aid on it and complicating things further in the process.

Okay, so, where did they screw up? And something beyond "fast releases" please, otherwise you'll just get reminded of Chrome.
