    As "private messaging" isn't working right now, I'm taking this route to ask a question about the "nod32 kernel service" problem you solved 11 months ago -- i.e. I seem to have a trojan on my drive that's disrupting NOD32 just the way you (& others) described back then.
    Before I follow your procedure, though, please clarify that "removing the Program Folder" means deleting the standard "Program Files" folder pre-arranged by Windows XP Pro -- which I run on this laptop without having partitioned its drive or otherwise customized much.
    (I submitted my question to Eset tonight, but I'm hoping to solve it before they get back to me "the next business day," three days from now.)
    I would be extremely grateful for your soonest reply.

    Hello,

    After uninstalling only delete the ESET folder in the Program Files directory.
