Program that can erase stored information on JPEG and/or PNG image files

    Can anyone recommend a good program that can erase stored information on JPEG and/or PNG files?

    Try Googling "EXIF editor".

    I remove EXIF data from images in Adobe Photoshop this way:

    1. Copy the image with the EXIF data to clipboard

    2. Create a new blank image in the photo editor

    3. Paste the image to the blank new image

    4. Save the new image

    5. EXIF data is gone from the new image.
