I know it was brought up many times ... but little example:

well today friend invited me to test great free golf game named Shot Online
    http://www.shot-online.com/

and guess what :) Crash bum Freeze ...
it seems like HS now crash game or freeze Your comp when PG there ... :(

    ---

so first GameGuard (nProtect) mentioned here https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=47827&highlight=gameguard

then PunkBuster in well known sticky https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=90067&highlight=punkbuster

and now HackShield noticed mentioned here too https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=119779&highlight=hackshield

    ---

so far only game anticheat what PG works with is VAC/VAC2 from Valve ... i mean i hope it works , someone please confirm or blast my hope :doubt: ...

    ---

maybe little suggestion to create sticky covering anticheats in games versus ProcessGuard

i think it will be worth as
PunkBuster covers ~ 21 multiplayer games including 3 MMO , including most popular ones ...
    see partial list http://www.punkbuster.com/

GameGuard covers ~ 20 MMO games , some of them are quite popular ...
    see partial list http://eng.nprotect.com/partner.htm

HackShield covers ~ 15 MMO games
    see partial list http://www.hackshields.com/customers.html

    ---

maybe authors of Process Guard, System Safety Monitor, AbuseShield and Blink (and maybe more) should form alliance against such actions ...

    ---

well in the end this prevents PG to be deployed or recommended to normal home end users or in game clubs / cyber cafes / internet cafes ...

    oh well o_O

p.s. maybe that PunkBuster sticky should be renamed to anticheats and all 3 named (PB,HS,GG) warning placed there ...

Trust me, the authors have themselves helped these anti-cheat systems. We only see the bright side of the moon, while they work in shadows.

e.g. : GameGuard's driver is designed by Sysinternals (the makers of Process Explorer)

Also, if I remember correctly, I am pretty sure DiamondCS helped iNCA's GameGuard past the "Remove Process Guard or you won't be able to play our game" crisis. But heh, that's just me...
