I will be formating my computer in a few days first using killdisk and then using the windows 98 start disk to format.. then i will reinstall details.

I am doing this because of a security problem i had recently and have been told that a normal format might not be enough to be certain nothing is left on my system ( trojans, viruses... ect ), so i am using killdisk first to be certain.

I would like to play around with the free version of process guard before the format to get a feel for it, i will be purchasing it once i have wiped my system.

My question is , will process guard block me from wiping the computer with either killdisk or a normal format?

Would i need to unistall it first?

    Hi timnicebutdim,

The presence of PG will not interfere with your wiping/formating plans. When using a bootdisk, you load a self-contained operating system that is independent of the contents of your hard disk.
