Problems with Taskbar

For about three weeks now i have been having a problem with my taskbar and that is it is seemingly not showing all of my running processes. As for one i am pretty sure i have Counterspy running on active guard but most of the time the yellow E doesnt show. This is all well and good but tonight my Kaspersky icon is not there. This is very worrying as without this im in trouble. I looked at my processes and it says Kav.exe and Kavsvc.exe is running but like i say nothing in my taskbar.

I do not have hide taskbar icons chosen so what is wrong and how do i fix it.
