Problems with Bitdefender

    Hi everyone,

    I've recently installed Bitdefender Total Security 2008, but there seems to be some issues with the autoupdate feature. It's set to check for updates every hour, but often it doesn't and I get a warning telling me updates are over a day old.

    Additonally, on a fairly regular basis when I check the update page on the Settings menu it says "Autoupdate not available". This is only resolved by restarting the computer.

    Has anyone else has similair problems?

    Hello,

    I am not sure but maybe it has some connection with the "Task Scheduler" service. Go on Start-run-type services.msc and see if the startup option for the Task Scheduler service is set on Automatic. Try this and let us know if this helps.
