    Hi all,

we have a problem with Windows NT 4.0 Server and Acronis TI8 Server (latest build). Our Network Protocols and TCP/IP aren´t displayed anymore. Settings are gone and reinstalling TCP/IP isn´t possible because it´s already installed. Has anyone an idea?

We recognized when installing Acronis again the settings are all visible.
How to deinstall Acronis without losing settings?

    Hello bmw328ii,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Could you please let us know the exact build number of Acronis True Image 8.0 Server for Windows which you can find in the Help -> About dialog (it should be a 4 digit number)?

    Thank you.

    Hello bmw328ii,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

Please download and install the latest build (101:cool: of Acronis True Image 8.0 Server for Windows which is available in the Product Updates section of our web-site. The problem was fixed in the latest build.

    Thank you.

    Hello Acronis Support,

we have german TI 8 Server and when we log in to download for updates we only get version 1002. Are german versions different then english versions?
    What can we do now?

    Hello bmw328ii,

Please describe your step-by-step actions which you took using Acronis True Image 8.0 Server before the problem appeared.

Yes, English and German versions of Acronis software have a different build enumeration, because some fixes for English versions are not necessary for German and vice versa.

    Thank you.

We have several servers running with Windows NT 4.0 Server (German). We installed Acronis TI 7 Server on all machines. We updated all machines from TI 7 Server to TI 8 Server. We have installed Build 1002 (latest german update). Last week we uninstalled on few servers TI 8 Server build 1002. After the reboot we recognized that the TCP/IP Protocol and Services are gone under Network. We are confused now because the server are still running with the ip adresses they have. Everything is working but there is no chance to see the TCP/IP and network services settings. Without seeing TCP/IP you can´t change ip adress or gateway. That´s bad
When we try to install tcp/ip the system says that the protocol is already installed. You can´t go on at this point. We try to reinstall Service Pack 6a. This was also not helpful. When we install TI 7 Server again the settings are then visible as before.
How can we uninstall Acronis without losing TCP/IP display under network?

    Hello bmw328ii,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Server Disk Backup Software.

I'm afraid that this problem requires a deeper investigation.

Please create Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Please send Windows System Information to support@acronis.de along with the link to this thread. Our German Support Team will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
