    Hi friends, hello Support,

    i just try to upgrade True Image Server v9.1 to True Image Echo Server #8163 on Windows 2003 Enterprise Server R2 SP2. Version 9.1 work good, no problems. I try to install the new version over the old one. I saw, TrueImage ignore the old version. So I abort and deinstall v9.1 and try to install 8163.

    Problem 1:
    the new installation start the service wmiapsrv.exe twice with 100% loading. Installation hangs. I can kill wmiapsrv.exe process, but TrueImage doesn't work.

    Problem 2:
    When I start TrueImage Echo Server, it shows:
    E000101F4: Kann Computer nicht initialisieren
    Kann Bibliothek für den Snapshot Manager nicht initialisieren (0x100005)
    Tag=0x8D5BF87C202E86CB
    Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden (0xFFF0)
    code = 80070002)
    Tag=0xBD28FDBD64EDB8AF

    Problem 3:
    I try to deinstall everthing. In this forum is a description for the home version. But it seems, this is not enough. Where is the server description?

    Problem 4:
    I try to remove the rescue zone (this is part of the manual deinstallation), but because of problem 2 I cannot use the delete function. I only remove the zone via drive manager. But now the server stops when it coming up.

    I hope for your response. Thank you.

    Jörg
