    Hi,

My computer crashed and we took it to a guy who managed to salvage some of the data from the hard drive. He must of compressed the original files into an archive file format. Was on a windows machine running XP, we no longer have the old computer.

A typical file name in the recovery file is:

    "arc_110311185941531.001"

other file extensions include: 002, 003, ...etc and also 00a, 00b, 00c etc.

There is also a .pbf file in the folder.

Any ideas of how to "unarchive" these files?

PBF is an extension used by a Paragon Disk Image. Why they would leave your files in that format I know not.

You can give the product TRIAL a shot and see if you can get access to the atchive...
