I think this is a very good idea

 

^ this. i've never run into a heuristics-related FP because i don't set the heuristics levels all that high. (one or two of the parameters are set one notch higher than default)

i have, however run into a lot of malware detection FPs with stuff, but i reported those (thanks @PrevxHelp for the correct place to direct those reports!)

 

Thank you for the reports We encourage everyone to tell us of any FP so that we can fix it for all users

 

I like the idea of having being able to set unique heuristic settings for some directories!

That being said, and until something is done about the FPs, I'll continue reporting them when they occur, I have however lowered heuristics to 'low' so now I only get a few once in a while.
