When I attempt to download a pdf file (e.g. tax form), IMON takes forever to scan that file. I know I can exclude pdf files from being scanned by IMON, but that does not seem to be a good idea. Is there an alternative solution?
I am using Adobe Acrobat reader 7.0.7, if that helps.

I use Adobe Reader 7.0.5 on both my computers and I encourage no problems. I also see it on other computers so I personaly have no issues about that . You may wish to try to get back to ver 7.0.5 or contact ESET's support

As a pdf reader I recomend this small, fast and free application:

    http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php

Much smaller and faster than Acrobat, and it helped to open a pdf file, which one of the forum users could not open with Acrobat Reader. Foxit Reader alows you to copy and paste text from pdf file.

As an aside, there is a known bug in Reader 7 which causes it to crash when downloading large PDFs. Could the issues be related?

It will open OK for me, but if I try to save it, Reader crashes. On completing an error report to MS, I got an information screen explaining it was a known error etc.

BTW, every time I leave the forum today, I am being logged out. Cookies are enabled and present, and I do have the 'remember me' box checked. Can you offer any advice please?
