Problem with Nod and Windows 7

Hello!
Yesterday i have installed on my notebook(msi ex625) windows 7 ( from microsoft site, v. 64bit) and Nod32 ( from here: http://download.eset.com/eval/win/eav/eav_nt64_plk.msi)

When instalation is finished, i tryied to run nod, and have that message:

Does any1 know how to repair that? I have tryied three versions:
eav_nt64_plk
eav_nt64_enu
eavbe_nt64_enu

and always have the same problem.

Help me, please

Are ESET Smart Security 4.0 and ESET NOD32 Antivirus 4.0 compatible with Windows 7?

I see..
But the funny thing is that, NOD is working on windows 7, but not in mine.
Maybe i'll try to reinstall system ( couse dont want to change antivirus ).

Until Windows 7 ships to manufacturing and to computer suplliers, ESET does not provide official support, although it does work on Win 7.

 

It looks like corrupted Side-by-side in Windows by some application. Run ProcMon from SysInternals with "Filter->Enable Advanced output" before you try to start egui.exe. It will log all filesystem and registry activity. Then after error message is shown you can stop logging. Post the log from ProcMon somewhere to web.

Is ekrn.exe running in the task manager? It appears that the gui is the part that is not running but can you test with the eicar test file and see if the AV is actually running?
