I'm trying to format a micro usb chip plugged into a Sandisk MicroUsb/SD adapter. The PC detects the chip and assigns a drive letter to it, but it says the volume is locked. There's a slider on the Sandisk adapter which is supposed to lock/unlock the chip; I've tried it in both positions with no change. I have another adapter coming in the mail to see if that's the problem. At the moment is there anything else I can check? TIA
