Just discovered that all of my "recent" entries in Word have been erased. This this had something to do w/the removal of 63mb of info when this release first came out. How do I protect these entries from being deleted?

I had this experience of losing all START > RUN entries recently, so I am not a fan of (a) tacked on cleaning utility. Once bitten, twice shy.

Thanks for the reply Tarnac. Guess I'll have to just forget about the cleaning function as I KNOW that is where the problem is laying. Using all other cleaners did not take out the documents other than WSA cleaner. Will watch for other answers for a possible solution.

I've moved this thread to the beta forum. The System Cleaner feature now has a scheduling function which was enabled by default in the last update. This is still a beta feature and we're going to be improving it in the next update. You can configure what's removed under System Tools - System Cleaner - Cleanup Settings, to choose to not remove run/recent history if you prefer.

Over the course of the next few weeks, the number of beta builds will be increasing so if you'd prefer to remain on the stable/public release track, I highly recommend uninstalling and using the public download, as these builds are meant just for testing/non-production systems.

I have a problem with CAPTCHA and it makes WSA crash when I try to save settings with the automatic clean up schedule! But it restarts it's self right after the crash.

This will be fixed in the next build - in the meantime, you can disable the captcha and you should be able to save settings without a problem :)

So, the first thing I'm going to have to do tomorrow, is to modify these settings in my relative's computer. Wasn't aware of it!

But, just a suggestion, maybe this automatic cleaning shouldn't be enabled, at all, and leave it up to the user to decide whether or not clean whatever they want to clean... manually? Just in case... :D

This is still just in the private beta build, not the public build or public beta. When it is officially released, the system cleaner scheduling won't be enabled automatically.

WSA currently selects MediaMonkey playlist and Settings & Adobe Flash Settings by default. This should be changed.

Thank you Joseph! Wasn't aware of the exclude list and appears to have solved my problem!
