Problem with Ad-Aware 2007 Free 7.0.1.3

    Hi there
    I have a problem with Ad-Aware 2007 Free 7.0.1.3. when I scan my computer it shows me error mesage I also had same problem with previous versions, today I downloaded latest bulid hoping bug will be fixed but... Error widow shows me report this problem in this forum:https://secure.lavasoft.com/support/supportcenter/ but as I understand here can post only purchased versions custtomers.
    So I post it here, hope someone can help me, or send this bug to Lavasoft.

    I run Windows Vista Ultimate and use Avast! pro edition.

    i see that but the lastest version on the offical site is 7.01.2
    so could softopedia got the compatiblity listed wrong?

    This is typical when the unsuspecting user, in this case tsilo acquires software from a non official site. We should produce a list of ten commandants or golden rules for tsilo and others: I'll start a list now. Someone will jump in and say that list is already in place, well where ever it is it wasn't visable enough to help tsilo out was it?

    (1) always acquire software and updates direct from the vendor not via a 3rd party
    (2) always double check product specifications so you don't find your PC can't run this or that product
    (3) Always backup your PC before trialling a new product

    Hey lodore you and I alone could make a list of the top 50 things right? Only 47 to go!:D

    (4) try to use an complete uninstall program to monitor the installation example total uninstall.
    (5) scan the download with your AV and antispyware scanners before you even think about installing it.
