Try the simple way . If you do think the uninstall got corrupted , now just install over the leftovers and reboot . Just run the installer . This will do the job :thumb:

    Mantra, reinstall 7.5.

Boot into safe mode and go to C\program files\grisoft\AVG antispyware 7.5 and double click uninstall.exe.

    Reboot into normal mode.

    Does this work for you?

    - Boot into safe-mode, then remove manually the whole installation folder of the AVG Anti-Spyware.
(default path should be: C:\Program files\grisoft\AVG antispyware 7.5)
    - Then boot in normal mode and try again to install the AVG Anti-Spyware, please run it with an User account that has Administration rights and without using tools like 'Dropmyrights' etc.

Before running the Setup, we recommend to deactivate/stop all other runnning security applications (Firewalls, Anti-Virus etc) because some of them may deny the installation of new drivers and services.
