    so i have the acronis os selector and it never actually loads into the selector. i have xp pro on my c: and a partition of my f: and osx on my other partition on my f:. but when i startup it hangs at:
    starting acronis loader...
    Press esc for menu...
    press f6 to skip menu...

    but it just stays there and typing in esc or f6 doesn't do anthing. is there anything i can do to atleast get onto my c: to get me emails off of it. thanks

    Hello Michael,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    Please boot up from the Windows Bootable CD, then go to the Recovery Console (the first Repair option you come to).

    From the command prompt please type:

    FIXMBR

    After that, please reboot your computer.

    This should remove Acronis OS Selector form the MBR of your hard drive. After that you should be able to boot your Windows from the C: partition as usual.

    Please try to activate Acronis OS Selector once again from Windows and see whether the issue remains. If it does remain then please create Acronis Report in the way described below:

    - Download and run Acronis Report Utility;
    - Select the "Create Bootable Floppy" option;
    - Insert a blank floppy disk in the A: drive and proceed with creation of the bootable floppy;
    - Boot the computer from this diskette and wait for report creation process to finish;
    - Collect the report file from the floppy.

    Please submit a request for technical support. Attach the collected report file to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
