privatefirewall how disable 100% hip?

Hi

i 'm using privatefirewall now

i used in the past outpost , after comodo and now privatefirewall

can i disable the hip ?

and can i use just like a firewall only?

i would like privatefirewall would pop up everytime a software try to connect to the net ,and maybe tweak it just like outpost and comodo

in short have more options then allow and deny, maybe pop up for every type of connection remote ip , ports and so on

can i do it?

To disable the HIPS i think you just turn process monitor off..Not too sure and others may know more.

 

Turning the process monitor off will cause all HIPS rules to be ignored, so yes, that's apparently how it's done.
