    That's the downside of improved privacy for individuals. Authorities could block access from government networks. But how could they police private devices?

    Still, how is this worse than old-school private conversations in meatspace? In coat rooms, bars, parks, etc?

    Bottom line, it's a trust thing. Trying to police communications is a losing game. Or rather, it'd be horrible if it were effective enough.
