On the Acronis web site it mentions that when you purchase PE 8 it is a one year subcription. Does anyone know what this means?

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

This means that the updates will work for a year after a purchase. After that you will be able to prolong the subscription.
