I use both actually, CCleaner most of the time. I only install the "Slim" build.

CCleaner with CCEnhancer would be my choice of the two.

I use BleachBit - mainly because I have no need for a registry cleaner and software uninstaller.

I kicked off CCEnhancer after it caused some issues. It cleans too much to my liking. CCleaner is enough. I want rather be on the safer side, i.e. clean less but with no harms. Anyway if you don't have any troubles using CCEnhancer, you're done. :)

I only enable (tick) things on CCleaner (with CCEnhancer) that I understand and know that it's safe to clean. :thumb:

I use PrivaZer. It has been run a good number of times and not caused any problems (Windows 10). I thought the computer would never work again because it seemed to take out so much on its first run but everything worked OK afterwards.

CCleaner is like a Swiss knife, a must have, the other cleaners focus on other stuff, so they complete each other, like AV+AS.
I use CCleaner daily, mostly as a browser and general cleaner, occasionally I run Windows Disk Cleanup and then Wise Care.

I've always viewed those two products as having different objectives , but with a large amount of functional overlap.

The clue is in the names :-

CCleaner was originally called " Crap Cleaner " and is a general purpose cleaner and toolkit

PrivaZer has a much stronger focus on privacy related issues ( eg shellbags )

You can also view the USB history in PrivaZer and they were working on an option to delete it a few months back ,
but AFAIK it is still not implemented.

For anyone interested , there is something in NirTools that will also display that USB history list .

I also don't need extra tools, so I know what you mean. BTW, I'm not sure about Privacy Eraser yet, it seems to be a bit slow to scan and clean, but I'm still testing. I do like the GUI though.

I've checked out Privazer and BleachBit and I didn't like them. They also wanted to run cmd.exe for some unknown reason, no thanks. I also checked out Clean Master, interesting GUI but not trustworthy.

For the browser and OS temporary files, that is already dealt with through Incognito/Private Browsing mode and Disk Cleanup.

If I feel like cleaning more than those (which is no longer as often as it used to be), I would choose CCleaner portable.
