I recently noticed an archival post at Wilders calling Privacy Defender: "Detox June 15th, 2006, 06:01 PM I'm not sure I'd be too proud of being on that 6starreviews site; they recommend rogue software such as "Privacy Defender. http://spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm" I am curious if anyone else agrees with their assesment? It is the only software I know of that will clean all index.dat files without rebooting the computer. If it is malware or dangerous in some way, i would like to stop using it. And if so, does anyone know of software that will clean all the index.dat files without rebooting? Any help is great.
