Prevx1 - failed to install(?)

So... tried twice to install this app today: error msg was about, oddly, that it did create a log txt file but then it could not open agent.exe and so, it did not run.

DL'd file again, and it's the same size, to double check this: app said it could not checksum a particular .sys file, and that was end of it, and the app closed. Poof/gone/end of story.

Ideas on what may've happened here, and/or how to fix it? Would like to at least look at app, try it, perhaps buy it.

Have you tried disabling other security software wihle installing?

Thought I'd "got by" PG and Online Armour in approved fashion, but yes, thanks - you make a good point where I may've erred when installing Prevx1. Will try again with all security apps off, tho' it seems with PG off it still leaps into the fray when installing apps: but, that may not be a bad thing altogether, really.
