Paid for PREVX and requested support (being it can not remove malware as stated) support tells me to download Hijack this and use it for removal?:thumbd:

SO WHY DID I PAY FOR PREVX?

Support works great if your in EUROPE, I get an email response at 3 am so I guess I have to stay up till 3am to comunicate with tech support:thumbd:

My IE8 has slowed to a crawl since PREVX has been installed (three machines same results) flash support no longer works (unless you like slide shows):thumbd:

Three reasons you should not purchase PREVX:

1 No support unless you like to use it beetween 12 am and 8 am:thumbd:
2 Almost useless web browsing after PREVX install (with a rumored update: when exactly?):thumbd:
3 Most important of all PREVX DOSE NOT REMOVE MALWARE (you need to download freeware for that):thumbd:

So please, do tell, why am I paying you PREVX, and how can I get my refund ASAP

what malware was flagged as not removable? Are you running any AV in tandem (it is a good idea to do so)

Glad you got what you paid for with PREVX (I have not) customer support has not helped fix the problem for me and 30 hours have passed. I run ESET as well and the Heuristics are set to high on PREVX and ESET and have been from install.

It sounds like your pc is so heavily infected that manual removal is required. That sort of thing is never going to be easy. You have two options for removal - let Prevx help you using tools such as Hijack This, or start posting for help on one of the malware removal forums...where one of the first tools they will point you to is Hijack This.

Your PCs are probably slowed to a crawl because they are all equally hosed with malware. Bear in mind also that this is the holiday period and every western anti-virus company will be running with reduced staff.

    You have 3 options:
    1. Remove Prevx, get a refund and go ask for help on malware removal forums
    2. Stick with the Prevx one on one support for the removal
    3. Reformat your PC

    Your choice.

I would have allready reformatted if I had not fell for the false claims of PREVX Hence the waste of my time I speak of in my other post and as far I read a refund is only on option after 14 days and thats an option for PREVX not in any way a promise also isnt the whole point of PREVX malware removal not to mention this all occured because of one file that PREVX scanned and failed to detect as malware

From what I've read of your problem so far...
Support told you to run HijackThis, which you didn't, and then you came here complaining that Prevx is a joke.
Why didn't you follow tech support's instructions?
Because you didn't think you should have to?

You've been so busy complaining about a quality product that you forgot to tell us until now that you "did everything support asked". If I'm wrong, show me where you told us that. Maybe you ass-sumed you mentioned it. ;)

You mention here that you also run/ran Eset as well. (not clear which)
Yet although you are complaining about Prevx you do not mention if Eset was able to detect or remove these infections or if you have tried to flame Eset in their Forum for missing and not removing the same infection :cautious:

Why are you talking to me

If you are under an assumption then ask before you respond the first time.

If you have nothing constructive to say, then please say nothing at all, I don't have the time or the patience to deal with your opinion.

My problems are fact, not opinion, my complaints are vaild, not imagined.
You have made it clear you do not agree therefore any other information posted by you unless constructive will be ignored by me.

    Thanks
(im not shure what for, but thanks anyway)

If you adopted the same attitude with PREVX support as with other users here I am not suprised you have not resolved your problems :)

If you don't properly explain your problem and the steps you have taken to try to fix it, then people trying to help you are bound to make a few assumptions in the process of trying to assist you. That's not an opinion, that is a basic fact of how forums operate. I'll give you this... you sure provide everyone with a good example of how not to ask for help, starting with the name you selected for the thread.

PREVX is a program that claims how that other programs do not catch or remove what their program dose (a bold claim indeed, its on there web site as an advertisement, no less)that is what is in question here. I only mentioned ESET because I was asked if I ran somthing with PREVX, FYI ESET is the only program blocking outbound IP requests by this infection, PREVX has missed all of the outbound IP connection attemps so in retrospect if I was only running PREVX this trojan would have communicated with the net and done what is was coded to do, PREVX did nothing to stop it from sending outbound info and ESET did not remove it BUT it did stop it from comunicating with another IP so ESET did something while PREVX did NOTHING (and yes ESET did detect and attempt to remove the same files that PREVX did, both failed) yet ESET dose not advertise the ease of removal that PREVEX dose hence the reason for this post.

    Detection for ESET 1
    Detection for PREVEX 1
    Removal for ESET 0
    Removal for PREVX 0
Outbound IP Request blocking for PREVX 0
Outbound IP Request blocking for ESET 1

Looks like ESET wins this round
