I could not find any information on this file (regstdsl.exe). Properties for it was blank, so I let Prevx remove it. Prevx reported it as Medium Risk Malware.

I run Vista x64, and it was found in C:\windows. Anyone know anything about this file?

if prevx found a system component which is infected it prompts you to insert windows installation CD - DVD before cleaning it. If it didn't prompt you to do that then your system would be stable after clean up, don't worry.

I'm unfamiliar with this file, but feel free to save a scan log and send it to report@prevxresearch.com and we'll analyze it for you :)
