    Downloaded and installed Prevx Facebook.

The install was strange as it sort of popped-up as though it hadn't installed. I thought it was a portable .exe and started wondering whether I needed to add it to the start menu. Anyway, a subsequent reboot confirmed it was installed and running.

I then found out that it didn't work with FF4. Amazed! How long has FF4 been on the way? Decided to uninstall it but couldn't find an entry in add/remove programmes. Nothing in Sart/All Programs, either.

Fortunately, I use ERUNT so went back to yesterday's registry, rebooted and deleted prevx.exe.

    Not a good experience.

I've been told that Prevx is slow to support new browser versions. FF4 is supposed to be supported by Prevx 4 when it's released.

Could you let me know if you have any other security software installed or if something could have been sandboxing the Prevx installation? Firefox 4 is not supported in Prevx 3 but will be supported in Prevx 4 as it requires a major fundamental change.

    Thank you!

I had the same problem. I could fix it by unloading Prevx SOL and deleting its folder.

    edit: atm I'm using f-security IS 2011

That way could cause problems! You can follow these steps in removing:

    1. Run the removal tool from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=csiuninstalltool Then reboot your PC.
    2. Run. "c:\program files\prevx\prevx.exe" /prop UNINSTALL=AUTO And reboot again!

That's funny because SoL worked with the beta but not with the official? It works with every other browser so who cares about FF, it's nowhere as good as it used to be any way.
