Prevx Edge Optimal Settings

Since we have the choice of 3 heuristics settings, I am curious to see what most are finding the best. That is all the thread is for please, to help others understand on what the best choices are.

 

I know my reply could be biased, anyway on one of my pc Edge is now configured at medium level on all heuristic settings.

I'm having no false positives and it's blocking all new malwares I'm analyzing

 

i think High on heuristics and med on the other 2 does a pretty good job, its just max heuristics i find to be a bit to much.

 

I feel content with all mediums seems like a good balance.

 

Because I rarely install new software once I have my machine how I like it, I leave all my settings on high.

A few fp's on the initial scan,. But now everything seems fine.

 

Am interigued by what you say you use as the recommended settings are in fact Medium/Low/Low, as stated in the applciation Or have I missed something?

 

Mine are set on medium straight across the board here too for my everyday stuff but if I go walking to the wild side I have been sliding them up full blast. Don't ask why, just the Wilderite in me.

 

The default settings and the recommended settings are our recommendation of balanced protection for all users in general. However, if you are willing to put up with a possible increase in false positives if you change the settings to a higher level, then feel free to increase the protection
