I decided to but a licese for Prevx Edge. I think it might be having an negative effect on my CPU. With Edge installed and protection active my CPU is constantly being used; around 50-65% active. And this is right after bootup. With Edge uninstalled everything is fine. I'm a little nervous now. Of course I couldn't catch this with a trial version (thank you Prevx). Any ideas?

If you hang around a little PrevxHelp will be along to assist. He is very good. Alternatively, you could ask a mod to close this post and post the same details over at the following:

It is a very large thread (but don't concerned by that) where most if not all the Edge-related queries are posted/responded to.

    Cheers :D

    Hello,
Is your CPU being used by prevx.exe? I'd be surprised if Edge would be causing a different program to use up large amounts of CPU, but it "may" help if you send me a scan log to see if there is anything obviously interacting negatively :)
