I've been trying to find this info, but so far I haven't found a thread mentioning it, unless I missed it. Prevx 3.0 also includes SafeOnline protection. On the other hand, SafeOnline also includes Prevx 3.0 scanning. Why both products? Prevx 3.0 installer is a bit smaller than SOL installer. If both, at least to my eyes, are the same , why both?
Graphics I think! And PSO concentrates more on Browser Protection then the malware removal as you need a license for most malware removal unless it's the MBR Rootkit and Adware! TH
Correct A very sizable portion of the product is the graphics, and SafeOnline's GUI is larger than the P3 one They are both very similar (all of the code is shared) but SafeOnline is configured to be less intrusive to the user by showing less warnings.
So, prettiness aside , and the fewer alerts, they're just about the same. It always made me wonder! Thanks!
Little doubt. Suppose that I have SafeOnline with Prevx (Facebook offer) installed, but that I'd like to have instead Prevx with SafeOnline due to the prettiness of its UI. Would it be possible, as in, would it accept a SOL key and work as the SOL (Facebook version)? I'd like to give Prevx a run myself, but I enjoy much more Prevx UI to SOL one. It's the darker side within me that fell in love with the darker lines of Prevx UI.
Just install the latest Prevx 3.0 installer on top of your SOL install and it will use your facebook license
