Prevx 3.xxx w/SOL not starting.

I have been using it on this machine for quite awhile.
Windows 7 Pro x64 and Prevx 3.0 with SOL.
It was running this morning.
I just fired up my pc and P3 isn't running. Haven't been able to start it.
Any ideas?

edit: Re-booted again and this time it started.
Still want to know why this happened.

 

Can you try a reboot and if that still does not correct it please uninstall reboot and install a clean copy of Prevx 3 http://info.prevx.com/downloadcsi.asp or if you want the latest Beta https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=295530 and make sure you have your license code to put in after the learning scan!

Depending on your user accounts, it could take up to two minutes for P3 to load on bootup. Loading it manually could potentially break the automatic loading but it's hard to say what would cause it in your case. If you come across it again, please let me know!

 

It's working now so I'm leaving it alone.
Usually it starts in the first few seconds.
Today, when I had the problem, it had not started for about 10 minutes.

This statement is a bit disturbing to me.
It leaves me unprotected for that time period since MSE is also a slow starter.
Almost all of the time P3 starts very quickly.
But how do we protect our pcs during boot?

 

It does not leave your PC unprotected - the kernelmode components of Prevx are started very early - it is just the usermode components which are started later.
