is out. I accidentally clicked Check for Updates and has been prompted to update so I did do. However update process didn't end, I mean Prevx splash screen didn't show up. After reboot everything's OK. Probably some hiccup.

Prevx 3.0 with SafeOnline build 3.0.5.217

    Hello all
We've finished another round of minor changes for Prevx 3.0/SafeOnline.

You can download it in about one hour from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=edgebeta for 32bit/64bit new installations or from http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=edgebeta64 for a manual upgrade on a 64bit installation.

Below is the changelog over the previous beta build, .209:

    - (P3E) Improved heuristics in the Enterprise version
    - (PSO) Improved central handling of antifraud engines
    - (P30) Improved self protection

Please let me know if you have any questions! Thank you for the testing :thumb:

When I tried to update, got this error...

Will I just wait awhile, or do a fresh install? Was running as Admin at the time.
    Thanks! :)

.218 has some digital certificate changes and a minor change for keyboard protection on virtual machines - we're still working through testing to ensure everything is working fine but let me know if you have any issues! :)

I have an issue as I've reported earlier. Prevx isn't registered in the Windows Security Center as of build .218. I know it can be solved by uninstalling and then re-install, but I reckon this shouldn't be necessary in the first place. :)

    Hi all
I have just updated to PREVX (full) 3.0.5.219 RC
    Same issue reported by shadek:
Prevx isn't registered in the Windows Security Center at all

    -------------

    Windows 7 ultimate x86
    PREVX
    MBAM Pro
    Hitman Pro
    Winpatrol Plus 2010
    sandoboxie (free mode)
    PC Tools Furewall Plus 6.0.88

My OS is fully up to date

    Any idea?

    Thank you in advance

No developer behind Prevx was interested in my issue so I just uninstalled and then installed Prevx all over again which solved the issue. It's quite odd that there's been no attempt to fix the issue whatsoever from what I understand.

It's out for beta testing. Auto-updated here. It'd be nice with a changelog! Was the Windows Security Center glitch fixed?

Sorry for the lack of a response about it - we're almost positive that the issue was caused by the changed digital certificate within Prevx. We've since corrected it in .219 (which is the only change - no actual functionality changes) so you should be good to use it now :)

    Hi all,

I have updated to .219 but I am still seeing the warning issue with Windows Security Center. It however is only an issue with my limited user account! This is with Windows 7 64bit, if it matters?

The registration within the security center will only take place on installation - could you try uninstalling/reinstalling and then insert your license key after the install process finishes? You will likely need to do this from an administrator account initially but after that you should be able to use a limited user account without a problem.

Let me know your results! :)

I will give it a try and let you know. Does this mean I have to log into my Prevx account and remove this computer until I reinstall?

No, you can just uninstall locally without changing anything in MyPrevx.

Did a reinstall which took care of the security center issue. This also reverted back to version .217. This is the current version I assume since it will not auto update to version .219.

This is going to be a double-post but a few days between the posts. Based on several days of heavy testing of malware, gaming and working in virtual environments, I must say .219 is the best version so far. Everything's extremely stable now. Great job with this build!
