    Ok, so I just have browsers set to warn me and then I make my own decision...

    but;

    If I did want to automatically block the browser from opening any site with a certificate error how would I go about it for FF4, IE9 & Opera11?

    After all, the websites should really have their certs in order, (although I know there's other reasons for errors too).

    Any thoughts on STS (HSTS) that's to be implemented in FF5, (it may already be in FF4 - I'm not sure)? Are any other browsers implementing this too, and if so, when?

    There's Perspectives (FF, Ch), SaferChrome (Ch), SSLGuard (FF), and Calomel SSL Validation (FF) as well.
