I'm still wondering, all vendor and many ppl said that 32bit av/am are on par with 64bit. Are there no difference at all? Not even a tiny impact?

Resource usage, self-protection, and compatibility may be affected.

In place of IE, I've started using Chrome with some add-ons: WOT, SiteAdvisor, AdBlock, FlashBlock, and LastPass.

Did you mean less mem usage, higher self protection and compatibility?
If so I wonder why won't they made it that way :)

Laptop disk replaced, so now running Windows 7 Home premium x64 again with:

    Windows FW only inbound

Windows OS Internals (simplified safe-admin setup)
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showpost.php?p=1852024&postcount=5
Saved them as regfiles (.reg), added shortcuts to start menu, piece of cake to switch on or off.

Avast Free File + Behavioral shield only (great cache mechanism of Avast to reduce disk I/O and CPU usage, so default values used)

Chromium as browser with Bitdender Traffic Light plug-in

    Simple and safe :thumb:
