First tell us why you want to use this? What else are you using for security?

I like to explore/try the new, and sometimes there are risks involved.

Love to live dangerously hey...I love it.

I doubt there's a risk but one can never be sure. Why don't you just set up a VM and then you can test to your hearts delight without worrying about risks.

I have to give it a miss, because when I put the 39 Page .pdf user guide through Google Translate it seems the install will only be in Chinese. So, I will not be installing!!!!

It installs in English and the installer is in English too. It is safe to use, but there are some issues. It doesn't auto update its signatures yet. Quite often it times out when downloading updates. When this happens, you have to check for updates again and start from scratch. This is a particular problem when updating to new versions, as it can take many attempts for the download to complete, as obviously program updates are much larger in size than signature updates. Currently there is no option to upgrade to a new version by running the installer for the latest installer. The installer has such an option, but for now it is unchecked and there is no option to enable it. One way around this is to uninstall the old version and then install the new one. Unlike WiseVector it appears to have not been designed to run alongside other antiviruses. When I attempted to install it on my main computer, it advised me not to continue the install as I already had Kaspersky installed. But it did give me the option to continue the install if I wanted.

The detection rate isn't great yet according to tests by @cruelsister. But it has done very well in multiple tests on a Chinese security forum. For now it's just one of the many antiviruses I'm running on my test system. It is getting fairly regular program updates, so no doubt it will get better in time. But as of right now, it's not a suitable replacement for WiseVector, even though one of the WiseVector developers is now working for Huawei.

Sorry for the late reply @ roger_m , but I have been busy.

Your information is very helpful, but as I said, above, I will not be installing it.
