    Hello all

I'm thinking of trying nod 32 out.Does the trial version offer full protection?I have read much about nod 32 with the pros and cons and it seems like a very nice program.

    thx

The ONLY difference between the Trial and Commercial version is that the virus database is downloaded in full each time there is a new update available, whereas the commercial version only downloads the latest update (incremental).

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

REALLY? you see, before finally purchasing it I tried all cracky warezy ways of getting my hands on Nod32, one was to fool the trial counter into believing it had 10 years remaining. Imagine my surprise when it downloaded 2,5 megs daily. I thought the problem was in my method.
Really clever solution, perfect for who evaluates but annoys the little stealer to full extent! :D

however maybe you could advertise this fact a bit more... one might think whilst evaluating, that NOD32 has daily 2,5 meg definition updates.

Taken from the trial version page:

Although the trial version represents a fully functional version of NOD32, you may experience a longer virus signature update (download) time.

Dialup users would be hit the hardest. Broadband users probably would not notice. ;)

Maybe if you checked here instead of at your warez sites, you would have noticed it.

I apologize, I just am strongly against any form of software piracy, either attempted or successful.

that is to be commended quexx88, but in this forum, I am sure that those directly attached to, or working for Eset can handle things! Best of intentions though... ;)
