Re: Possible infection of "Worm.Somefool.P" ~ some help, please!

    Hello,

I have also recently had the email that I have the worm.somefool.p. This is on one email address. On an other I keep getting returned mail in German.
I have run the symantec tool for w32.netsky but nothing has been found.

I have also run the hijackthis tool and this is the log:

    Hi ramoth,

You don not ahve the virus for as far as I can see, but we can get rid of some spyware since you are here anyway.

Before you start, please move hijackthis to a separate folder. The program will make backups in the folder in the folder it's in.
These will now end up on your desktop.

Check the items listed below in HijackThis, close all windows except HijackThis and click Fix checked:

    O2 - BHO: MyWebSearch Search Assistant BHO - {00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\SearchAt\1.bin\MWSSRCAS.DLL

    O2 - BHO: mwsBar BHO - {07B18EA1-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL

    O3 - Toolbar: My &Way Speedbar - {07B18EA9-A523-4961-B6BB-170DE4475CCA} - C:\Program Files\MyWay\bar\1.bin\MWSBAR.DLL

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [MyWebSearch Email Plugin] C:\PROGRA~1\MyWay\bar\1.bin\mwsoemon.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [RunDLL] rundll32.exe "C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll",Load

    O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/nocache/funwebproducts/SmileyCentralInitialSetup1.0.0.6.cab

    O16 - DPF: {AB29A544-D6B4-4E36-A1F8-D3E34FC7B00A} - http://install.wildtangent.com/bgn/partners/wtgeneric/lilostitchpinball/install.cab
    O16 - DPF: {B942A249-D1E7-4C11-98AE-FCB76B08747F} (RealArcadeRdxIE Class) - http://games-dl.real.com/gameconsole/Bundler/CAB/RealArcadeRdxIE.cab

Then reboot into safe mode and delete:
    C:\Program Files\MyWay <= entire folder

    Regards,

    Pieter
